1. Information we process

Export requests

An export URL contains a region, realm and an encoded payload with up to 200 World of Warcraft character names. This encoding is designed for compact URLs and is not encryption. The URL may therefore be recorded in browser history, server logs and network security systems.

Public game information

Depending on availability, Arena LFG processes character name, realm, class, race, gender, specializations, arena ratings, wins, losses and update timestamps. This information originates from Blizzard's public game services or from data derived from those services.

Technical information

Hosting and infrastructure providers may process IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, timestamps, response status and security or diagnostic logs. Arena LFG does not currently provide user accounts or intentionally collect real names, postal addresses or payment information.

2. How information is used

• Generate the import document requested by the addon.
• Look up existing character data and prioritize missing or outdated records.
• Maintain cooldowns for pending or unavailable characters and avoid unnecessary API requests.
• Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, prevent abuse and protect the service.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, this processing is based on providing the service you request and the legitimate interests of operating, securing and improving Arena LFG.

3. Service providers and data sources

Arena LFG currently relies on:

• Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery, TLS and network security.
• Supabase for database and serverless API infrastructure.
• Blizzard Entertainment as the source of public World of Warcraft game data.

These providers may process information in multiple countries under their own terms and privacy policies. Arena LFG does not sell or rent submitted character names or technical information.

4. Retention

Character and PvP records are cached and refreshed to provide the service efficiently. Pending and not-found states may be retained with a cooldown to prevent repeated requests. Technical logs are retained according to the operational and security settings of Cloudflare and Supabase. Information is removed or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to legal, security and backup requirements.

5. Cookies, local storage and advertising

Arena LFG uses Google AdSense to display advertising that supports the operation of the service. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP address, browser information and interactions with advertisements to deliver, measure and protect ads, subject to their own privacy policies.

Where required by law, Arena LFG will request consent before loading non-essential advertising technologies. You may use the consent controls presented on the site to accept, reject or change your choices. Essential technologies used for security, routing and service operation may still be active.

6. Clipboard access

The export page writes the generated import to your clipboard only after you press the copy button. Arena LFG does not read the contents of your clipboard.

7. Your choices

Arena LFG does not create user accounts or maintain profiles containing your real name, email address, postal address or payment information.

Export links contain the selected realm and public character names. Do not generate or open an export link if you do not want those character names transmitted through the service. You can remove export links from your browser history and run /alfg_wipe in game to clear data stored locally by the addon.

8. Children

Arena LFG is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The service should be used in accordance with World of Warcraft's applicable age requirements.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the service, its providers or applicable requirements change. The latest revision date will always appear at the top of this page.
